Objectiu

Projectar una reforma integral de l’actual adoberia annexa al museu de Can Granotes d’Igualada (actual museu antic de la pell), per tal d’allotjar‐hi un viver

d’empreses.

Experiència

Ens trobem amb un edifici existent, amb un interès local i una història industrial darrera que cal analitzar. En aquest cas començo a tenir en compte l’arquitectura existent, no només com un conjunt d’elements a rehabilitar, també com a part del projecte. Combinar diferents materialitats i buscar l’equilibri nou - antic son els puts a destacar del projecte.

Projectes II - Past footprints

Goals

Project a comprehensive reform of the current tannery attached to the Can Granotes of Igualada Museum (now the old museum of the skin), in order to incorporate a business space.

Experience

We find an existing building, with a local interest and an industrial history that we have to analyse. In this case I begin to take into account the existing architecture, not only as a set of elements to be rehabilitated, also as part of the project. Combine different materiality and look for the balance new - old , are the points to emphasize of the project.
