The Discipline
10 years of study at the university take place to reflect a lot about what you learn. During this time, you are in a phase of personal and professional growth where your perception of architecture is changing. Valuing things that you didn't take into account before, such as human behavior or sensitivity towards the city, are knowledge that I have been developing as the career progressed and that I consider essential for our discipline. They are no longer parameters that are totally linked to society and that we sometimes leave aside to focus on things that are also important, but of a much lower importance. I consider that I have acquired a technical-artistic knowledge that is high above what is required in the studies, but the interest is in the acquisition of this special sensibility, applicable to the profession but above all in personal experiences.

The subjects
The set of subjects is extensive and each one has his own goals, in first specific but also relative, since each one ends up extracting conclusions and knowledge very different. This great repertoire helps to focus your eyes on the future, to one point or another, and it is in those multidisciplinary subjects, where you learn and where you start to approach the professional world.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES

TRIPS
Trips are part of these personal experiences that have enriched my vision of architecture for years.
I could not opt for any specific trip, since everyone can always draw some conclusions, but I could say that I would stay with the trips made by Catalonia, not just because it is the land where I was born, also because I consider that The architecture of adaptation that is realized in each place of this region is very fascinating.
I have always thought that you should first know very well what you have close, and then be able to understand and value what happens in other places.
THE TRANSVERSALITY
In my case, combining work with studies has caused this transversality to be affected.
To carry out subjects of different courses implies not being able to apply the knowledge established in the studies plan on a regular basis.
I consider that the subjects have a disjointed connection, which means that some lessons, such as the application of the technical code in our projects, structural / constructive knowledge or a vision closer to the professional world, are taught too late.
Then we have a package of first year subjects, such as Mathematics and Physics, where this transversality disappears, I think they should be rethought towards a more specific application of our profession.

I have always had a special interest in vegetation, and during Architecture studies I have often wondered how to incorporate vegetation into my projects, how to take advantage of everything that exists in buildings and what benefits we can obtain. These questions, surely, now have more importance than ever.
Its relationship with generalized concerns regarding the environment, the tools to fight against the negative excesses of climate change, the sustainability idea and its applications to architecture, and in particular the ideas of 'green architecture and self-sufficient architecture.
