Projectes IV - Habitar el paissatge

Objectiu

Projectar una casa per un artista en la localitat de Vilafamés, poble d’uns 1.500 habitants situat a 28km a l’interior de la costa, a 30 minuts de la ciutat de Castelló i alhora es situat a una cota que arriba als 400 metres.

L’anàlisi del lloc passarà per una doble aproximació. La seva relació amb la cultura territorial del lloc i les seves condicions, especialment la topografia i el patrimoni existent.

Aquesta casa ha d’incorporar un taller, una residència per estudiants i una casa per la família que cuidarà del conjunt.

Experiència

Visitem el lloc i l’estudiem. L’aixecament de l’emplaçament dona una informació més acurada sobre la complexitat del terreny i com abordar-lo. Pel tipus de programa la decisió passa per la creació de peces aïllades d’una dimensió més propera al de les edificacions existents i fer la connexió entre elles a través del espai públic. Aquesta estratègia obliga a treballar lo públic i lo privat amb la mateixa importància.

Hi ha un interès especial en donar protecció solar i visual a les diferents peces, el tractament de la pell té molt de pes dintre del projecte, així com el tractament dels desnivells.

Projects IV - Inhabit the landscape

Goals

Project a house for an artist in the town of Vilafames, a town of about 1,500 inhabitants located 28km in the interior of the coast, 30 minutes from the city of Castellon and at the same time located at a level that reaches 400 meters.

The analysis of the site will go through a double approach. Its relationship with the territorial culture of the place and their the conditions, especially the topography and the existing heritage.

This house must incorporate a workshop, a residence for students and a house for the family that will take care of the whole.

Experience

We visited the site and studied it. The rise of the site gives more accurate information about the complexity of the terrain and how to deal with it. By the type of program the decision goes through the creation of isolated pieces of a dimension closer to the existing buildings and connecting them through the public space. This strategy forces people to work publicly and privately with the same importance.

There is a special interest in giving solar and visual protection to the different parts, the treatment of the skin has a lot of weight within the project, as well as the treatment of slopes.
